The PolyMath Development Group is proud to announce the Version 0.2 and new 0.3 Early Preview release of it's Java Library for OpenMath. The library supports all the core features of OpenMath, including reading and writing XML, and provides a basic object and event model. An important part of the library is a set of JavaBeans that demonstrate how it is now possible to rapidly build OpenMath-compliant applications (often in minutes) using the library. Please visit: http://pdg.cecm.sfu.ca/openmath/lib/ It is rather essential (due to the nature of Java) that there be a single, serializable, Java OpenMath Library. We would thus like to propose that this form the basis of that standard. Note: This is an Early Access release, and is only available to OpenMath Consortium members.
