Description:
At the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Paderborn
there is an opening for the position of a research assistant (BAT IIa) limited to
three years starting March 2000. We seek a either a postdoctoral candidate or a
graduated student who intends to write a PhD thesis. Our research interest are
algorithmic mathematics, complexity theory, and computer algebra. We expect an active
participation in the teaching duties of the department as well as in the resarch
activities of the newly founded Paderborn Institute for Scientific Computation (PaSCo).
